Our lucky dog trainer, Moriah Hudson, has had the pleasure and experience of working with a variety of animals throughout her lifetime. A habitual dog lover from an early age, Moriah started professionally training dogs 3 years ago. During this time, she has learned how to train all energy levels and breeds and improve communication between dogs and their owners.

Moriah is fully committed to a training style that is force free and built on a mutual respect that deepens the human-canine bond.

Unlike many other pet training services, we DO NOT use electric collars, e-collars, or muscle stimulating collars all of which use electrical current to “stimulate” nerves and sensory receptors. Instead, Moriah uses positive reinforcement only, helping to create a constructive experience for both the dog and their owners. This eliminates the need for corrections by introducing an alternative behavior that can then be rewarded.

At Lucky Dog we use only compassionate training techniques with clicker training, praise and affection, along with food-related incentives.
Lucky Dog training is incredibly easy for working professionals and students. All training packages include free Doggy Daycare for the duration of the course. You simply drop your dog off in the morning and can pick up anytime from the time that your dog is finished in the afternoon to the time Lucky Dog closes. Our staff will make sure your pet is well cared for until you are ready to pick them up.

At the end of the training session each owner will receive a one-hour one-on-one session to detail everything that your pet learned and how to work with them to maintain skills for the future.
